New 55+ active adult lifestyle community is currently under development in Durham

Spring has sprung with sunny days and warmer weather drawing prospective homebuyers out and about to see all that the Triangle area has to offer. In fact, Creekside at Bethpage, a new 55-plus active adult community, recently hosted a Spring Fling event that drew quite a large crowd.

Organized by Creekside at Bethpage Community Director Susie Hardy and community staff, the fun-filled event was complete with live jazz music; hotdogs and local beers from Wicked Links Sausage Co. and Lynnwood Brewing Concern in Raleigh; ice cream treats from The Parlour in Durham; and entertaining yard games.

“Our Spring Fling event was great fun for all involved,” said Hardy. “We enjoyed the opportunity to meet an array of interested homebuyers and share our Creekside at Bethpage active adult community with them. It was also a treat to watch our close-knit neighbors join in the conversations about all that we have to offer empty nesters and retirees.”

Current Creekside at Bethpage homeowners joined in the festivities to welcome new and returning guests to the community and share their personal experiences in the dynamic neighborhood development. Wearing “Ask Me” buttons and friendly smiles, residents spoke with attendees about the community’s vast amenities, the weekly activities they enjoy, the convenience of the surrounding Brier Creek area, and the many ways in which they have begun to build the next chapter of their lives in Creekside at Bethpage.

The event also marked a naming ceremony for Creekside at Bethpage’s highly anticipated 13,000-square-foot recreation center slated to open this summer. Homeowners and prospective buyers were asked to cast a vote for one of five possible names for the amenity-laden facility with Hemingway Hall coming in as the top pick.

Spring Fling participants were also given the opportunity to try their hand at an oversized dice game for a chance to win $15,000 or Starbucks gift cards in varying values. All eight of the community’s model homes were open for tours to enable prospective buyers the opportunity to see firsthand the expertly designed floor plans and finishes available to them.

Those that weren't able to attend the Creekside at Bethpage Spring Fling event, but would like to learn more about the active adult community may visit the Sales Center located at 3500 Page Road in Durham. For more information, visit www.CreeksideatBethpage.com or call (919) 626-3500.
