Design Corps, a Raleigh-based nonprofit using design for underserved communities, will present its 16th annual Structures for Inclusion Conference (SFI) Friday through Sunday, March 18-20, at NC State University. Open to the public, the conference is sponsored by the NCSU College of Design and the Autodesk Foundation.

North Carolina Modernist Houses (NCMH) is a ticket outlet for the conference. Proceeds from tickets purchased on the NCMH website at www.ncmodernist.org/conference will benefit NCMH's work in documenting, preserving, and promoting Modernist architecture.

Posing the question “How can we make buildings and spaces better places for everyone?” the SFI Conference will explore the best public interest design from around the globe.

“SFI brings together and shares the best ideas and practices reaching those currently un-served by architecture,” according to NCMH’s George Smart. “This conference is about compelling stories, not technical jargon. If you’ve had a vision for design in your community, you’ll have found your tribe.”
