Bookmark and Share Charlotte, NC - October 14, 2015 -

Could Alzheimer's disease be diagnosed with eye imaging, years before other symptoms appear? Exciting new research suggests it may be a possibility. Early diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s could hasten the development of drugs for this disease.

Join us for a free presentation, Thursday, October 29 from 6 - 8 pm, on an innovative research study out of Duke University that just might be "The Holy Grail of Alzheimer’s Research." The speaker is Dr. Eleonora Lad, assistant professor of ophthalmology at Duke University Medical Center. She recently presented her findings at an international Alzheimer’s conference in Australia.

It's happening at The Ivey Memory Wellness Day Center, 6030 Park South Drive in Charlotte.

RSVP by October 27th. Call 704-909-2070 or email beverly.byrnes@theivey.com. Light fare provided.
