Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia Elects Three New Members to Board of Directors

Easter Seals UCP North Carolina &Virginia, a non-profit offering local programs that connect children, families and adults managing disabilities and mental health challenges to meaningful solutions, has elected three Triangle area leaders to their board of directors.

Licensed psychologist Tammi Moore, PhD is founder and president of Western Wake Counseling and Psychological Services in Cary. For nearly ten years, Dr. Moore has been providing mental health services to clients in the Triangle area. Specializing in health psychology, Dr. Moore works to identify and address environmental barriers for her patients and integrate a treatment plan that encompasses all involved medical professionals to ensure treatment success.

Katina Dorton is a partner with CoRise, a financial advisory, consulting and investment firm in Raleigh. Dorton has spent more than 20 years advising corporate clients and their board of directors on fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Michael O’Donnell of Raleigh is a strategic advisor to the board of directors and executive leadership for WasteZero, Inc., a company specializing in municipal solid waste metering systems and services. O’Donnell advises the firm on financial strategy, acquisitions and strategic alliances for long-term growth planning.

As a member of the board of directors, they will be part of a group charged with advancing the Easter Seals UCP mission by helping individuals living with disabilities see beyond their limits and engage more fully in their community.
