Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia, a nonprofit serving children and adults with special needs and disabilities, has promoted Larry Thompson to vice president of development and hired Brad Roberts as chief financial officer.

Thompson has been with Easter Seals UCP since 2007 and previously served as senior director of development. As Vice President of Development, Thompson will supervise development managers and their fundraising activities across North Carolina and Virginia. He will also manage several national corporate partnerships on the affiliate level and coordinate and expand Easter Seals UCP’s Ride Without Limits cycling event.

Roberts will be responsible for the financial oversight of Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia, a nonprofit employing over 2,700 employees and serving more than 20,000 individuals with special needs across the two states. Before coming to Easter Seals UCP, Roberts was the finance director at WakeMed Health and Hospitals.
