A very special commencement ceremony was held at the inclusive Easter Seals UCP Stepping Stones Children’s Center in Sanford on Friday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. Nine students with and without disabilities received their diplomas and bid goodbye to Stepping Stones as they and their families prepare for their transition into the public school system next Fall. Center Director Emily Page welcomed family members and other guests to the ceremony and students at the center performed a special song of welcome prior to the issuing of graduation certificates and awards. Guests were treated to a slideshow highlighting center activities over the past year, and a luncheon was served at the conclusion of the commencement program.
