More than 400 walkers of all physical abilities participated in the Easter Seals UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) 2nd annual Walk With Me event at NC State University’s Centennial Campus on Saturday, April 2nd. The event raised $47,000 to support critical programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. Easter Seals UCP serves almost 6,000 individuals and their families in the Triangle area.

“The Easter Seals UCP Triangle Walk With Me is one of our largest fundraising events and also the most inspiring for participants,” said Amy Beros, development manager, for Easter Seals UCP. “The opportunity for people with and without disabilities to come together and participate in the same recreational activity, makes this event unique and allows people to see the value of their donations and the benefits it brings individuals with disabilities. We thank everyone who came out to support Easter Seals UCP and are so appreciative of the generosity shown. The funds raised will make a significant difference in our community.”
