RALEIGH, NC – April 27, 2016 -- EDM, a leading international provider of Business Process Automation and Information Management solutions, announced today the appointment of Mary Olson as a Strategic Account Executive. Olson has expertise in driving health care transformation solutions for leading companies in the health care and life sciences sectors. She joined EDM on March 30 and will be located in the company’s New York City office.

Olson will be responsible for managing EDM health care and life sciences client accounts located in the mid-Atlantic region from New York to North Carolina.

Olson joined EDM from TVR Communications, a health care information technology company, where she served as Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager for Interactive Patient Systems. Prior to that she was Sales Director for ExitCare, a subsidiary of Elsevier, where she exceeded her annual sales goals every year. In that position she increased ExitCare’s services to the government sector and managed the company’s key national accounts including EPIC and CliniComp, a division of the US Defense Department. She also was a key contributor to ExitCare’s acquisition efforts, migrating and integrating ExitCare’s customers into Elsevier’s business model. Earlier in her career Olson held sales management positions at Eastman Kodak and 3M Corporation.
