Bookmark and Share Cary, NC - September 12, 2017 -

The Second Annual Love Heals Fundraiser will take place on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at the Mayton Inn in Downtown Cary from 5 to 10 p.m. The free concert will benefit and spread awareness of InterAct, a nonprofit that provides safety, support and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault.

Sidewinder will headline the event along with Band of Brothers and Ernie McAlister’s Back of the Boat Tour. Bond Brothers Beer Company will be serving craft beer, and various food trucks will be on site. A silent auction will feature vacations and getaways, restaurant gift cards, spa packages, Durham Bulls tickets, a Jeff Skinner signed photo, gym memberships, and more. VIP seating is available, which includes covered seating and catered food and drinks. Silent auction bids, VIP packages and a percentage of food and drink sales will support InterAct.

InterAct promotes violence-free relationships and communities through collaboration, public information, education and advocacy. InterAct is the only confidential domestic-violence-prevention program serving Wake County’s 12 municipalities. Services the nonprofit offers to victims include 24-hour crisis phone lines, counseling, court advocacy, residential shelter, community education and outreach, and more. “InterAct helped me get out of an abusive relationship and become a survivor,” said Michelle (last name withheld), event organizer. “I want to thank all of my supporters of Love Heals.”

PowerSecure, S&A Communications, Social House Vodka, Bost Custom Homes, the Mayton Inn, Kitchen and Bath Galleries, Bond Brothers Beer Company, and BMC are all proud sponsors of the event.
