Popular website Groupon, which presents an online audience with deep discounts on a product or service, is highlighting Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia’s Therapeutic Foster Care program as part of their November G-Team Campaign. G-Team is Groupon's charitable giving arm that is currently being launched in select Groupon markets. The first G-Team market being launched in Easter Seals UCP’s service territory is Charlotte. The Easter Seals UCP G-Team campaign is being marketed on the Groupon Charlotte site from Tuesday, November 1st through Thursday, November 3rd. Anyone across the country may participate in the campaign and dollars raised will benefit Easter Seals UCP foster care programs across North Carolina.

Easter Seals UCP discount deals are highlighted as a "side deals" on the Groupon website, and users click on ad space to the side of the main deal. Groupon is tweeting and face booking the G-Team deal on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and Easter Seals UCP supporters can do the same.

The "deal" to benefit Easter Seals UCP involves a $6 donation which will purchase half of a school supply kit for a child in an Easter Seals UCP therapeutic foster care program. Donors can purchase multiple deals. Groupon will give Easter Seals UCP 100% of funds raised through the G-Team campaign, but Easter Seals UCP will need to have at least 35 deals purchased in order for the organization to qualify for the donations.
