“Free delivery became a popular service as soon as we started the program and our new web locator makes the service even easier to use,” says Anthony “Tony” Civello, president and CEO of Kerr Drug. “There are circumstances when customers can’t get to the pharmacy and providing free delivery is another way to better serve the community, which is what the concept of community pharmacy is all about.”

The nationally recognized provider of pharmacy and other healthcare services launched its free delivery program last fall believing going back to the future and delivering medications to home and office provided another way to bring its pharmacy services to patients. The service was an instant hit.

There are no hidden fees and no tipping. After finding the nearest Kerr Drug pharmacy on the Kerr Drug Delivers website, customers call their prescription in to a pharmacist to get it filled and then request that the prescription be delivered to their home or office. The customer must sign for their prescription when the medication is delivered. In addition to the prescription delivery, any other item from the store can also be delivered free of charge. Kerr Drug delivery technicians call when they are on their way so customers will be ready. Kerr Drug pharmacists are able to assist customers who want to transfer their prescriptions from another pharmacy to take advantage of the free delivery service.
