Kristin Mart, Patient Services Manager for the Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter (LFANC) has been invited to serve on the Lupus Foundation of America’s (LFA) National Education Committee.

Mart is among a few hand-selected patient services representatives from the chapter level to join national LFA staff and health professionals on the Education Committee, which helps conduct educational needs assessments, set priorities and support the development of lupus educational resources. The committee seeks to enhance educational services for patients, teens and young adults, minorities, caregivers and health professionals.

“I am proud that Kristin’s [Mart] outstanding work for the chapter is already being noticed at a higher level, and that her involvement will provide a voice for North Carolina on programs that mold and shape our support for those we serve,” said Christine John-Fuller, President and CEO of LFANC.
