Easter Seals UCP (United Cerebral Palsy), a nonprofit improving the lives of individuals and families managing disabilities and mental health challenges, will hold an upscale wine tasting and live jazz fund raiser called Juice and Jazz on July 20 at the Terraces on Sir Tyler (1826 Sir Tyler Drive) from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Jazz music will be performed by the Marc Getter Trio. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and have the opportunity to bid on items, such as travel packages, jewelry, salon services and more in the silent auction.

Money raised from Juice and Jazz will benefit critical lifelong programs and services that provide support, care and hope to children and adults living with disabilities and mental health challenges in the North Carolina coastal area.

More than 13 percent of the population in North Carolina lives with a disability. Specifically in the Wilmington area, Easter Seals UCP provided 205,510 hours of service over the past year, which accounts for six percent of all children, families and adults served by the nonprofit.
