Mandy Mitchell Joins Lupus Foundation of America, N.C. Chapter

The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter (LFANC) has hired Mandy Mitchell as an event coordinator. In her role, Mitchell will handle all event planning and logistics for both LFANC’s fundraising and educational programs throughout North Carolina.

Mitchell brings more than 10 years of event marketing experience to her position. Previously, she worked at the Arthritis Foundation Mid Atlantic Region, in the event-planning industry and as a marketing intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She graduated with a bachelor of science in physical education from West Virginia University and earned a master of business administration from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. In addition, Mitchell earned an event management certificate from George Washington University and a technical meeting and event production certificate from the Event Leadership Institute.

“Mandy [Mitchell] brings extensive events and grant writing experience to our organization,” said Christine John-Fuller, President and CEO of LFANC. “We are thrilled to have her on our team and as part of our efforts of putting on quality events and programs to support the 45,000 people living with lupus in North Carolina and their loved ones.”
