An AARP Driver Safety Course will be held on Friday, March 13, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., at Northwestern Mutual, 4020 Westchase Blvd, 1st floor, Raleigh. The course, for people 50 and older, is taught by Woody Beach, a professional instructor and Northwestern Mutual policyholder for more than 60 years. Participants will learn defensive driving techniques, current road rules, ways to safely operate a vehicle, and the effects that changes in vision, hearing and reaction time can have on driving.
