M/I Homes Begins Sales in Sutton Mill and Cameron Creek, Two New S.C. Communities Near Charlotte

M/I Homes has begun new home sales in two of the most desirable communities in the greater Charlotte region, Sutton Mill in Fort Mill and Cameron Creek in Tega Cay. Both South Carolina communities are located close to Charlotte.

Sutton Mill is a partially wooded community of ranch and two-story homes on 93 home sites around the corner from Baxter Village and Town Center, giving residents many choices for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Buyers can select from home plan designs in M/I’s Park and Carolina Eco Collections. These innovative plans have open great rooms, kitchens with large islands, owners’ suites with walk-in closets, spacious secondary bedrooms, and flexible living areas. Most plans have the option for a first floor guest suite with full bath for visiting guests. Plans range from 1,714 to more than 3,200 square feet. Base prices will be from about $242,990 to about $303,990, depending on plan and options selected.

Two model homes are currently under construction in Sutton Mill, the Claiborne and the Newport. Children in the community will attend Fort Mill schools, among the best schools in the state.

Cameron Creek in Tega Cay, South Carolina will span 317 home sites, including 177 single-family homes and 140 townhomes on 72 acres. The community is located off Highway 160 between Gold Hill Road and I-77.

A wide selection of two-story and ranch home plans are offered from M/I’s Cape Cod Cottage and Charleston Alley Collections to suit a variety of tastes and lifestyle needs. M/I Homes’ Cottage and Alley designs vary from just under 2,000 square feet to more than 3,200 square feet. Look for exteriors of HardiePlank with brick and stone accents. Front porch patios will add to the inviting atmosphere. A limited number of homes will feature basements and crawl spaces.

Base prices in Cameron Creek start from about $289,990 to about $339,990 for single-family homes, depending on options selected. Community amenities will include a pool and cabana. Children living here will attend Fort Mill schools.

The Felix and Hathaway plans will be the featured models in Cameron Creek. Both are scheduled to open in mid-to late June. M/I is expected to release pricing and home designs for the townhomes mid-summer.

All homes in Sutton Mill and Cameron Creek will be 100% ENERGY STAR® Certified and built to M/I Homes’ Whole Home Building Standards. Directions to Cameron Creek: Take I-77 to Exit 88/ Gold Hill Road in South Carolina. Go west on Gold Hill Road towards Tega Cay and travel approximately 2 miles. Make a left onto Highway 160 East. Cameron Creek will be .5 of a mile on the right. You will also see a Bruster’s Ice Cream parlor on the right.
