Nexsen Pruet Expands Litigation Practice in Charlotte; Hunter Quick and Lee Falls to focus on insurance subrogation

Hunter Quick and Lee Falls, two veteran property subrogation lawyers, have joined Nexsen Pruet in Charlotte. The new hires will expand the firm’s scope of business litigation services provided to clients in the region.

Quick has been a trial lawyer for 34 years, and has tried more than 80 cases and arbitrations to verdict or award and obtained multiple million-dollar recoveries. Falls has nearly a decade of experience that also includes litigating construction disputes.

Both attorneys come to Nexsen Pruet from Charlotte-based Quick, Widis & Nalibotsky, PLLC. Quick was in the Charlotte office of Cozen O’Connor from 1990-2006, handling large property loss subrogation cases. In addition to their subrogation practice, they bring experience in handling complex multi-party liability cases, as well as copyright and trademark infringement and cases involving contracts, royalty disputes, libel and First Amendment issues.

Quick earned his undergraduate degree from Wofford College, his master’s degree from Marshall University, and his law degree from West Virginia University. Falls earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the Duke University School of Law.
