Wake Forest Residents Invited to Tour the New Studio and Celebrate Grand Opening With Music, Food, Workout Demos and Fun Activities

Orangetheory Fitness, the high-intensity group fitness phenomenon is opening its fifth Triangle location in Wake Forest with a grand opening celebration on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. The new studio is housed in the Wake Forest Crossing II shopping center off Capital Boulevard. It will host the official kickoff to classes with an event including music, food, drinks, workout demos and other fun activities for all attendees to enjoy. Now through the grand opening event are the last chances for prospective new members to get reduced membership rates.

Orangetheory Fitness has taken the nation by storm with its fun and challenging workouts led by upbeat and expert trainers. All five local studios provide what the New York Times features as a plateau-busting workout. Orangetheory Fitness workouts feature high-intensity interval training with short bursts of exercise that are designed to maximize the Orange Effect, which increases the body’s caloric burn for up to 36 post-workout. During classes, participants wear heart-rate monitors to track heart rate zones. In one 60-minute session, participants can burn anywhere from 600 to 1,000 calories.

“Connecting with people has always been a passion of mine and opening this new Orangetheory Fitness studio has allowed me to bond with people in ways I’ve never be able to before,” says Kristine Bernecki. “I love that Orangetheory Fitness empowers me to help my fellow community members reach their personal health and fitness goals through our dynamic and fun workouts! I can’t wait for Wake Forest to experience the Orange Effect!”

The grand opening celebration will take place inside the brand new studio and is an ideal opportunity for members, guests and neighbors to meet the trainers, learn more about the workout, and lock in limited-time only discounted membership rates. The event will feature giveaways and raffles; a selection of complimentary food and drinks; workout demos and more. Admission into the event is completely free. Wake Forest residents interested in attending who are not yet Orangetheory Fitness members should contact the studio at (919) 761-7778.

The new studio is located near Kohl’s in the Wake Forest Crossing II shopping center, at 12646 Capital Boulevard #152, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
