Parker Poe Elects New Partners for Charlotte and Raleigh Offices

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is starting off the New Year with five new partners at the helm. Raleigh attorneys Scott E. Bayzle, William B. Cannon and Sarah L. Ford, and Charlotte attorneys P. Michael Juby, Jr., and James C. Lesnett, Jr., join the list of dedicated Parker Poe lawyers who have achieved this accomplishment over the years.

Scott E. Bayzle is a member of Parker Poe’s Litigation Department and practices in the Antitrust, Business Torts & White Collar Group. North Carolina Super Lawyers recognized Bayzle as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation in 2011 and 2012. He received his J.D. in 2005 and his B.S. in 2000, both from Wake Forest University.

William B. Cannon is a member of the Firm’s Business Law Department and practices in the Intellectual Property Group. Cannon is admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 and his B.S. from Davidson College in 2002.

Sarah L. Ford is a member of the Firm’s Regulatory Department and practices in the Employment & Benefits Group. Ford was named a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal’s “40 under 40” for 2012. She received her J.D. from New York University in 2003 and her B.A. from Miami University in 1996.

P. Michael Juby, Jr., is a member of Parker Poe’s Banking & Finance Department and practices in the Public Finance Group. In 2012, North Carolina Super Lawyers recognized Juby as a “Rising Star” in Bonds/Government Finance. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 and his B.S. from N.C. State University in 2000.

James C. Lesnett, Jr., is a member of Parker Poe’s Litigation Department and practices in the Antitrust, Business Torts & White Collar Group. He is admitted to practice in the states of North Carolina and West Virginia. Lesnett received his J.D. from Harvard University in 2004 and his B.S. from Bluefield College in Virginia in 2001.
