In advance of the April 25 grand opening of the first Pieology Pizzeria in North Carolina, the Raleigh restaurant will be offering patrons free pizza on Saturday, April 23, with a donation to Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina. Pieology Pizzeria is located in the Stanhope Center at 3001 Hillsborough Road near N.C. State University.

The event is open to all Triangle residents and will take place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for lunch and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. for dinner. The restaurant will be closed between each seating. There is a limit of one free pizza per guest, and 100 percent of all donations will benefit JAENC.

Pieology is a fast-casual restaurant offering artisan-style pizzas. With house-made crusts, signature sauces and dozens of fresh toppings, patrons choose their favorite flavor combination on pizzas that are stone-oven fired in less than three minutes. Pieology is on schedule to have 200 restaurants open nationwide by the end of 2016.

“We are delighted to partner with Pieology for this event as they open their new restaurant in Raleigh,” said Bebee Bason Lee, president of JAENC. “Both of our organizations share a similar goal to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.”

JAENC is a nonprofit organization that strives to empower young people to own their economic success. The funds raised at this event will help the organization expand its reach to more students with its business and economic education programs. In the 2014-2015 school year alone, 9,927 students benefitted from JAENC programs presented by 585 volunteers in the classroom.
