Raleigh Housing Authority Executive Director to Speak to Real Estate Management Group

IREM®, the Institute of Real Estate Management, will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. The organization serves as a peer-to-peer networking opportunity for real estate management and service professionals in the Triangle area to discuss topics of interest.

The featured speaker for this month’s luncheon is Steve Beam, executive director of Raleigh Housing Authority. Beam will lead a discussion titled, “Remodeling Affordable Housing” where he will give an overview of public housing and the future effects in the real estate industry.

“We are very excited to have Steve Beam come and speak to our group about such an important issue,” says Crystal Hall, IREM Chapter 105 President. “Affordable housing is a rapidly changing industry and it’s important for real estate management and service professionals to be aware of all current requirements.”

The event will begin at 12 p.m. at the Carolina Country Club on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. Prepaid CPM ®, ARM ®, CPM ® Candidate, and friends of IREM ® members are welcome to attend the event free of charge.
