Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic Announces New Executive Director for the Practice

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (ROC) is proud to announce that Sean M. McNally has been named Executive Director of Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic, effective May 2, 2016. McNally will succeed Karl F. Stein, who is retiring from the position after 15 years of service.

McNally has more than 20 years of health care management experience. Prior to joining ROC, McNally served as CEO of the Moore Orthopaedic Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, he was responsible for managing and providing leadership for Moore’s five outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery center, imaging center and rehabilitation programs. When the Moore Orthopaedic Clinic became an affiliate of Providence Hospitals in Columbia, South Carolina in 2010, McNally was elected as Vice President of Orthopaedic Services and Physician Integration of Providence Hospitals. Most recently, McNally was working with Physician Health in Greenville, South Carolina.

“Mr. McNally will be a wonderful addition to Raleigh Orthopaedic,” said Stein. “His wealth of experience with orthopaedics, hospitals and physician integration will be an invaluable asset as the practice remains focused on providing the highest quality care to its patients across Wake County.”

McNally is very involved professionally at the medical group management level. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been invited to speak at several conferences and wrote a chapter for one of the bestselling practice management books, Mastering Patient Flow – Using Lean Thinking.

McNally and his wife, who have two children in college, will be relocating to Raleigh from Greenville, South Carolina.
