In preparation for its 2015 event season, 24 Hours of Booty announced today that registration for its 14th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute will launch on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at 9:00AM (EST).

The annual charity non-competitive cycling event for all ages and cycling abilities is scheduled to roll on the “Booty Loop” in Charlotte’s Myers Park neighborhood from 7:00PM Friday, July 24 to 7:00PM Saturday, July 25, 2015. To safely accommodate riders on the 3-mile closed course, event registration will be capped at the first 1,200 registrants.

“We look forward to another great year ahead and appreciate all the support from our riders, sponsors and cancer survivors to the Myers Park Neighborhood and our venue hosts,” said Basil Lyberg, executive director of 24 Hours of Booty. “Together, we are continuing to make an impact in supporting top-notch cancer survivorship and navigation programs right here in our community.”

All participants for the Charlotte ride must register online at www.24hoursofbooty.org, pay a $65 registration fee and raise a minimum of $400 prior to the event. Funds raised support local and national cancer beneficiaries including: Carolinas HealthCare System’s Levine Cancer Institute, LIVESTRONG Foundation, Wind River Cancer Retreats, Brain Tumor Fund of the Carolinas, Hendrick Marrow Program and the Keep Pounding Fund.

Myers Park Traditional School and Queens University of Charlotte will again serve as home to “Bootyville” where riders camp, eat and recharge when not riding. In the event’s 13-year history, more than 13,000 riders have raised more than $13 million.
