The Good Ride to Roll Through South Charlotte – May 10

The Good Ride will be cycling for ‘good’ with its inaugural charity bike event in Blakeney on Saturday, May 10. Proceeds from the ride will support 24 Hours of Booty.

Geared for the entire family, The Good Ride will start and end at Blakeney Professional Center located at 8835 Professional Drive in South Charlotte. It offers 22-, 34- and 65-mile routes and a Family Fun Ride (3-5 miles) for ages 6 and up. The 22-, 34- and 65-mile rides begin at 8:00AM and the Family Ride begins at 8:30AM.

“We are excited to support 24 Hours of Booty through our inaugural ride,” said Michael Hernandez, founder of The Good Ride and a 24 Hours of Booty rider. “It is all about cycling for a good cause. We look forward to bringing together those who share a love of cycling to create positive change in our community including supporting the fight against cancer.”

Registration is $40 per rider until April 27 and $45 from April 28 until the day of the event. The Family Ride registration fee is $10 per rider or $20 per family. Participants must be at least 12 years old for the mileage rides. Youth under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. For the Family Ride, youth participants must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by an adult. Triple C Brewing Co. will also be hosting an after-party at 6:00PM May 10.
