The Secret Chocolatier announced today that it will be expanding to Ballantyne. Its second Charlotte retail store will be located at 11318 N. Community House Road, Suite 203.

Formerly occupied by Think Chocolate, the new Secret Chocolatier store features 1,400 square-feet of space that is a chocolate shop with a café element. It will include a prep kitchen, retail display area, indoor and outdoor seating, and a coffee lounge. They will sell hand-made chocolates and confections as well as coffee. The new store is scheduled to open December 1 with a grand opening celebration planned for a later date.

“We have been exploring opportunities to expand so we lucked out when this location became available to us,” said Andy Ciordia, co-owner of The Secret Chocolatier. “We are very excited about our growth, being in the Ballantyne area and having a chocolate shop with a café element. The larger space and supplies from the previous establishment will enable us to do this seamlessly.”
