Three Nexsen Pruet Attorneys Elected to S.C. Bar House of Delegates

Nexsen Pruet attorneys Jimmy Long, Bruce Wallace and Tracy Vann have been elected to the House of Delegates for the South Carolina Bar. Their two-year term begins July 1, 2014

Jimmy Long (Columbia) - is a commercial litigator who has tried cases to verdict in Federal Court, State Circuit Court, the Administrative Law Court and Family Court. He has argued appeals before the South Carolina Supreme Court and South Carolina Court of Appeals.

Bruce Wallace (Charleston) - represents a variety of banking and financial institutions in real estate litigation, commercial litigation, and mortgage foreclosures. He also represents insurers and corporate clients in bad faith and coverage issues, professional liability, business litigation, and probate litigation matters.

Tracy Vann (Charlotte, NC) - is a construction litigator who represents owners, contractors and design professionals in a full range of business disputes. She has also represented clients in state and federal courts on matters related to insurance, real property and commercial landlord/tenant litigation.

This will be a second term for Long (Fifth Judicial Circuit) and a third term for Wallace (Ninth Judicial Circuit). This is Vann’s first term as Out of State delegate to the SC Bar.

The House of Delegates establishes policy for the Bar. It meets at least twice a year and includes delegates from each judicial circuit.
