Labor and employment law firm Fisher & Phillips LLP has added Travis W. Vance as Of Counsel in its Charlotte office.

Previously, Mr. Vance worked for law firms in Harrisonburg, Va. and in Columbia, S.C. AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Travis advises and represents clients in a variety of complex litigation disputes relating to safety, construction and employment law matters. He also counsels employers on OSHA issues, including supervisor training, compliance and citation defense. Travis has represented clients at numerous motion hearings, depositions, trials, mediations, and arbitrations in matters pending in either state or federal courts in New York (Second Circuit), South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and (pro hac vice) in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Utah. He has also assisted clients in OSHA matters pending in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia.

He graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he was a four-year NCAA varsity letterman in baseball and obtained a bachelor of arts in American Studies. Travis received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
