William Peace University, (http://www.peace.edu/), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, is proud to announce that it has launched a new academic program geared primarily toward college transfer students and working adults who wish to earn their baccalaureate degree. The program, known as FLEX (FLX), is designed to provide students with more freedom and flexibility by making it easy for them to choose classes on their own time and schedules.

FLEX blends the University’s core Day and School of Professional Studies (SPS) programs, allowing students to interchange classes, making for a fully customizable schedule with class offerings during the day, evening, online, and on Saturday. The program is currently $333 per hour and is only offered to students transferring in with college credits beginning in the fall of 2015. Additionally, students within the program have access to University clubs and activities, personalized advising, and lifelong access to Career Services.

“We realize that higher education is changing and that more than ever, students need to be able to build a flexible course schedule,” said Justin G. Roy, Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. “FLEX will be great for those students who work either full-time or part-time jobs, but still want to pursue their college degree. It will also be good for those students who just simply want more class options than what’s conventionally offered.”

“We are constantly seeking innovative ways to offer a world-class education at an affordable price. FLEX is just another example of that,” said Debra M. Townsley, President of William Peace University. “This will truly help many people who need more variety in choosing their class schedules.”
