William Peace University Names Jarrod Miron New Intramural Program & Area Coordinator

Four-Year Baccalaureate University Expands Leadership In Intramurals and Residence Life Department

RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 8, 2014 – William Peace University (www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced the hiring of Intramural Program & Area Coordinator, Jarrod Miron. In his positions, Miron will plan and draft all intramural events and programs, develop and oversee the implementation of community-based social and educational programs for area residents, help implement all programs and operations set forth by the Residence Life department, and assist in student activities programs as needed.

Before coming to William Peace University, Miron earned a B.S. in Sport Management from Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., where he also served as Vice President for Club Sports, worked for the Intramural and Athletics Departments, and coached club sports. He later earned his M.S. in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, T.N., where he was a Graduate Assistant for the Intramural Department.

A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Miron resides in Raleigh.
