Smooth Transition of Customer Accounts Underway

Lisa Higginbotham, CRS, co-owner of 5Star Awards, Inc. in Cary, has announced that the company has acquired Cutting Edge Engraving, Inc., based in Raleigh. Cutting Edge owner Matthew Kane is stepping back from the company he founded in 1989 to devote more time to family and community service.

5Star Awards and Cutting Edge Engraving are both successful award-winning local businesses devoted to high quality in designing and creating corporate and personal gifts and awards.

In a letter to Cutting Edge customers, Higginbotham wrote: “I want to make sure that I meet each of you, whether through email or in person, so that the transition is as smooth and successful as possible.
