Astrophysics Selects Bell and Howell to Increase Service Capacity in North America

Bell and Howell’s award-winning service organization becomes extension of existing team

Bell and Howell announced today that it has been selected by Astrophysics Inc., a leading X-ray security scanners manufacturer, to augment its existing industry-leading service team throughout North America. The partnership helps increase Astrophysics’ service reach and capabilities as the company expands its footprint in the U.S. and Canada.

The partnership is focused on Astrophysics’ portfolio of more than 40 different X-ray Imaging Systems (XIS), which feature “6-Color Imaging” and “Picture Perfect” functionality that help detect threats and contraband hidden in everything from suitcases to cargo containers. With operators in over 140 countries utilizing Astrophysics’ advanced system features, the government-qualified scanners are able to handle any security mission.

As part of the agreement with Astrophysics, Bell and Howell will provide full onsite support, including everything from initial site surveys to installation, preventative maintenance and radiation surveys. The partnership allows for round-the-clock onsite support from Bell and Howell for customers that require a high level of service integrity.
