Bailey’s Fine Jewelry now carries From Soldier to Soldier, a jewelry line that supports military charities, at its Fayetteville location.

From Soldier to Soldier is an awareness and fundraising campaign that supports wounded veterans and their families through the sales of the designer version of survival bracelets worn by many U.S. and allied soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The bracelets worn in the field, made of tightly braided parachute cord, are known as “survival bracelets” because they can be unraveled and used for many purposes in a variety of situations.

Those sold in Bailey’s are also made of parachute cord with a sterling silver clasp made to look like a uniform button, which are commonly used to clasp the bracelets in the field. Clasps are also available in sterling silver and gold plated sterling silver hearts, with or without diamonds. Bracelets cost from $95 to $145 with $20 of each sale going to the campaign.

The campaign is part of a national effort to raise funds for veterans’ aid organizations such as Homes for our Troops, an organization that builds adapted homes for severely injured war veterans. To date, the campaign has raised almost $700,000.

Homes for Our Troops has aided military families in the Fayetteville area by building homes and completing home modification projects for injured veterans.

“We are very pleased to partner with Bailey’s Fine Jewelry in support of this unifying cause,” said Niels Christiansen, CEO of LovelinksAmerica, the Massachusetts company behind the national campaign. “From Soldier To Soldier is about our young men and women who put their lives on the line for our country and made horrific sacrifices. It is about the survival, friendship and commitment, symbolized by these bracelets.”

“Supporting the military and its veterans is very important to our family,” said Trey Bailey, director of operations for Bailey’s Fine Jewelry. “We’re excited to be able to honor the men and women who serve this country through the From Soldier to Soldier line.”
