BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (February 3, 2020) – Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that it has joined the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and will participate in the LCLD Scholars Program for first-year law students.

Beginning this year, Bradley will recruit diverse first-year summer associates from the LCLD Scholars Program, which is designed to strengthen the legal pipeline by expanding the number of opportunities for these students. Participating students receive valuable professional experiences and benefits from working side-by-side with LCLD members. Through the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in the LCLD 1L Scholars Annual Summit in June in Atlanta. Since it was launched in 2011, the 1L LCLD Scholars Program has put hundreds of young attorneys on a path to leadership through law school and beyond.
Founded in 2009, the LCLD has as members more than 300 corporate legal chief officers and law firm managing partners – the leadership of the profession – who participate in programs designed to attract, inspire, and nurture the talent in society and within the members’ organizations, thereby helping a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
