Carolina Custom Homes and Renovations has won an Excellence in Remodeling Silver Award from the Charlotte Homebuilders Association in the category of general renovation under $120,000.

The company, headquartered in Rock Hill, won for a home renovation in Charlotte. The renovation included two bathrooms, the kitchen and a new outdoor area.

“One big goal was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the home, and to fix a significantly sagging kitchen floor,” says Carolina Custom Homes President Mike Goubran. “It was great to work with the homeowners to bring their vision to life.”

Carolina Custom Homes and Renovations was established by Mike Goubran in 2009. The company offers new home construction, renovations, commercial upfits, and consulting.

Mike Goubran has been a licensed general contractor since 1999. He holds a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University and an MBA from Queens University in Charlotte. He also holds a Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders.
