Cherokee Media Group, a full-service media and event management company, has hired Erin Sayre as sales support and media coordinator. She will primarily provide support services for the company’s automotive and B2B media properties.

Prior to working with Cherokee Media Group, Sayre held several positions as a swimming and diving coach. Most recently, she worked with CrossFit CVI in Pompano Beach, Florida, as a coach and also the facility/operations manager. She was responsible for group training, scheduling events, maintaining accounts, and managing the facility’s social media pages and website.

She earned her bachelor’s of general studies degree with a concentration in English and education from Youngstown State University in 2009.

Sayre moved to the Triangle to volunteer at Calvary Chapel Raleigh. She is a certified CrossFit instructor and swim coach. In her time off, she enjoys serving in the church and all things health, fitness and competition. Her passion for being active has inspired her to run in marathons, race in triathlons, participate in CrossFit competitions, and even swim around Key West.
