Mr. Bradley comes from a well-respected intellectual property law firm in Michigan, where he focused on patent preparation and prosecution, patentability and freedom to operate searches, and gained significant experience coordinating foreign patent prosecution. Mr. Bradley holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame in Computer Engineering and has industry experience working as a software engineer. Mr. Bradley leverages this background in his work as a patent attorney, where he handles matters involving a wide range of technologies, including avionics, wireless lighting systems, and computer software.

"Tim represents a valuable addition to our electrical engineering practice group," said Michael Murphy, a Coats and Bennett member. "Tim has a demonstrated ability to understand complex inventions, supported by good industry experience and an impressive academic background."

An active member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association and Automation Alley, Michigan's largest business technology association, Bradley is looking forward to embracing the Triangle intellectual property community.

Mr. Bradley obtained his Juris Doctor at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI. He is licensed to practice in North Carolina and in Michigan, and is registered with the USPTO.

"I've seen first-hand and enjoyed the benefits of working with a successful mid-size IP firm," said Bradley. "Client interaction and the ability to work on highly technical, complex legal issues are what I'm most looking forward to as a new associate with the firm."
