FHI is excited to announce the hiring of Joanna Holder as VP of HR. She has 20 years of experience in business and human resources leadership. Joanna’s passion is using her experience and knowledge to partner with leaders to improve the associate experience.

Originally from Texas, Joanna began her HR career as an intern at MedCath’s new Heart Hospital of Austin. She would remain with MedCath after graduating, moving to Charlotte and learning all facets of HR over the next 7 years. Prior to joining FHI Joanna spent 11 years at Novant Health working with leaders to build an engaging and inclusive culture that served the community. It was during this time that she received her master’s in business administration from Wake Forest University. Most recently, she led the HR function at Bob Barker Company collaborating with leaders on strategies that increase the team member work experience and builds a pipeline of talent. Joanna resides in Raleigh with her husband and their 2 children
