Eight deserving women will receive a touch of glam, courtesy of Glam Lounge in downtown Raleigh, as they prepare to join Ping Fu, chairman and CEO of Geomagic, on stage and share their inspiring success stories at the annual Success Suits Her luncheon, benefiting Dress for Success Triangle NC. The fundraising event, hosted at Exhibit Resources Friday, March 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., provides support for Dress for Success services which help low-income women make tailored transitions into the workforce.

Dawn Bender Carrington, internationally recognized stylist and owner of Glam Lounge, and Debra Goodyear, stylist and makeup artist, are donating on-site hair and makeup services for the sold-out event.

Glam Lounge is also planning a Glam Drive to collect stylish clothing and accessories through the month of April for the Dress for Success boutique. Handbags and other professional accessories are most desirable to help women refresh their look to suit their career paths.

The first 100 women who donate new or gently used handbags at Glam Lounge will receive a free GLAMsurvival kit with travel-size products from the popular, exclusive haircare line developed by Glam Lounge. Donated items may be dropped off at Glam Lounge, located at 722 N. West St., any Tuesday through Thursday in April between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., or by appointment.
