Hardee’s®, famous for its Made from Scratch Biscuits™, has kicked its breakfast menu up a notch with the addition of the Cheddar Biscuit. The Cheddar Biscuit is available at Hardee’s restaurants throughout the Carolinas and Virginia.

The Cheddar Biscuit consists of two thick slices of aged extra sharp Wisconsin cheddar cheese melted inside the classic, hot Made from Scratch Biscuit. The hot and cheesy biscuit is a true Southern treat and is the first cheese biscuit widely available in quick service restaurants for breakfast lovers

The Cheddar Biscuit was created in the North Carolina test kitchens of Hardee’s franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises, the largest franchise operator in North Carolina and the U.S. The biscuit was successfully test marketed with Hardee’s customers in Rocky Mount locations before being expanded to Hardee’s restaurants across the U.S. this fall.

The Cheddar Biscuit is not the first menu item developed in Boddie-Noell’s test kitchens to be rolled out at Hardee’s nationwide. Boddie-Noell’s test kitchens have developed several successful menu items for Hardee’s, most recently the Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders™ last year and the original Made from Scratch Biscuit over a quarter century ago.

The Cheddar Biscuit is available for $1.49 or $3.39 in a small combo with Hash Rounds® Potatoes and a beverage making it a delicious Cheddar treat for Hardee’s customers.
