Heather Dean, partner at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP, served as a delegate to CPAmerica International’s 2013 International Group Meeting in Atlanta, Ga., Dec. 4-5, 2013. The annual meeting brought together accounting professionals within the association to network and discuss international business development and strategy.

The agenda included technical sessions and best practice discussions. In addition, HPG’s strategic partner Sean King, president of Align Global Consulting, presented a session on restructuring considerations, as well as tax implications and compliance requirements for foreign operations.
