Bookmark and Share Raleigh, NC - November 10, 2017 -

Vintage Fan Fair, a two-day event to Celebrate Nostalgia™, being held November 10 & 11th, 2017 at the NC State Fairgrounds, has just announced that The Homer Laughlin China Company (HLC, Inc.) has just been added to the lineup of vendors at the indoor marketplace.

The Homer Laughlin China Company (HLC Inc.), founded in 1871, is the largest domestic tableware manufacturer in the United States. They are an iconic brand that wholly designs and manufactures dinnerware in the USA and has been doing so for over 80 years. Their most popular and recognizable line is the colorful - and highly collectible - Fiesta® dinnerware; which has been continuously in production since 1936.

HLC, Inc. will be showcasing their latest additions to the Retro collection, that now has a total of 16 designs. Two of the newest designs, Pinwheels and Golden Ambrosia, are true callbacks from Homer Laughlin’s vast archive of retired designs.

Katie Bricker, General Marketing Manager states, “These whimsical, creative designs evoke fun and a distinctively Americana style. This return to the classics has been embraced with enthusiasm.” Fair attendees will surely recognize these retro patterns that will bring back memories of Mom’s kitchen or even from your favorite roadside diner experience. HLC, Inc. also has been manufacturing table service dinnerware for restaurants for over 80 years.

In addition to the indoor marketplace, Vintage Fan Fair will fully immerse attendees in a nostalgic experience with various activities, showcases, presentations and pop-up entertainment. Scheduled highlights include:

Glamper Showcase - The first of its kind in the Triangle. Attendees will be able to tour 25+ vintage trailers during special open house hours. Peek inside these mobile tiny homes called Glampers (Glamorous + Campers) and see how each owner decorates to the nines!

“Mayberry Modernism” presentation - George Smart, President of North Carolina Modernist Houses will share the story of how North Carolina became the third largest concentration of modernist houses in America.
