June L. Basden and Kenneth R. Keller Named Fellows of the American Bar Foundation

Greensboro, N.C. – Carruthers & Roth, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorneys June L. Basden and Kenneth R. Keller were recently selected to become Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). The Fellows of the ABF is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges and scholars who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the legal profession. Membership is limited to one percent of attorneys in each state.

June L. Basden is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant with more than 28 years of experience in commercial finance, banking law and bankruptcy. She represents national, regional and community banks, financial institutions and commercial lenders in a variety of finance transactions, with a special focus on commercial lending and creditors' rights. She is a fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL).

Basden currently serves as chair of the Advisory Council of the Women to Women Endowment Fund established at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. Since 2008, she has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© and she was recently named Best Lawyers® 2014 Banking and Finance Law "Lawyer of the Year” in Greensboro. Basden has also been selected for inclusion in Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite.”

Kenneth R. Keller is a litigator who focuses on disputes involving businesses and corporations, employment issues, insurance defense and personal injury. His clients range from corporations and insurance companies to individuals and entrepreneurs. His experience in employment-related issues also makes him a sought-after speaker.

Keller serves on the board of directors of the Greensboro Bar Association. He is past president of the Rotary Club of Greensboro and currently serves as assistant governor of Rotary District 7690's Area 5. Since 2011, Keller has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America©. He has also been selected for inclusion in Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite.”
