Kroger Offers “4X Fuel Points” Promotion On Saturday, January 17

RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 16, 2015– The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), the nation’s largest traditional grocery retailer with 14 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced that customers can receive four times the fuel points by purchasing gift cards on Saturday, January 17. Points earned in the “4X Fuel Points” promotion can be redeemed for savings of up to $1 per gallon on fuel purchases at The Kroger Co.’s Family of Stores Fuel Centers. For example, $20 in gift cards equals 80 fuel points.

In addition, Kroger customers can earn fuel points through their everyday purchases with Kroger’s regular fuel points program. With this program, customers can:

− Earn 100 fuel points for every $100 in groceries purchased.

− Earn double points every day on eligible gift card purchases, and earn points when they fill prescriptions (gift cards and pharmacy purchases are not included in the "2x Fuel Points Weekends Promotion").

− Redeem up to 1,000 points for up to $1 in savings at Kroger fuel centers in one fill-up.

− Redeem fuel points at participating Shell stations.

Taxes, office services, alcohol, tobacco, fuel and lottery purchases, gift cards and pharmacy purchases are not included in the 4x Fuel Points Weekends Promotion. For full details, visit Rules of the Road at www.kroger.com/fuel.
