Learn why 'Change is a Bitch'
The American Advertising Federation: Raleigh-Durham Chapter (AAF-RDU) is excited to host speaker Rick Boyko, Director of Virginia Commonwealth University’s top-ranked Brandcenter, for a presentation at Rigsbee Hall in Durham, N.C. The presentation, “Change is a Bitch,” is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27 at noon, with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. for lunch.
“It is a tremendous honor for AAF-RDU to host someone of Rick's caliber,” said Betsy Kennihan, first vice president and programs co-chair. “An opportunity to learn from the Director of the top-ranked advertising graduate program in the nation is something Triangle advertising professionals won’t want to miss.”
After serving as the Chief Creative Officer and Co-President of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Boyko joined the VCU Brandcenter in July 2003 as its managing director. The VCU Brandcenter offers a two-year intensive master’s program with five areas of study. Their program introduces students to both the client-side and agency workplace before graduation. Since becoming the director, Boyko has facilitated three new tracks within the program including Communications Strategy, Creative Brand Management and Creative Technology.
Tickets to the event are $25 for all AAF members and student non-members, $15 for AD2 students and $45 for non-members. For more information and to RSVP, please visit http://www.aaf-rdu.org.
