LemonShark Poké, a family-owned restaurant serving locally-crafted, premium poké, invites poké aficionados and newcomers alike to taste its fresh creations for 50% off during the final week of National Seafood Month, Oct. 27 to Nov. 2. Enthusiasts can also participate in bingo rewards, redeemable for a free poké bowl of any size by the end of November, challenging guests to explore their taste buds with specialty ingredients like marinated octopus and zucchini noodles base.

LemonShark Poké also encourages the community to support 4Ocean, an organization actively removing trash from the ocean and coastlines while inspiring individuals to work together for a cleaner ocean, one pound at a time. Guest have the option to add $1, $2 or $3 donations to their orders or purchase Seahorse Bracelets, which highlight the need to better protect these vulnerable species and funds the removal of one pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines.

“Celebrating National Seafood Month is a great opportunity to showcase all things poké; it’s a really flavorful, healthy option for people on the go or dining in,” said Conner Dingman, owner, LemonShark Poké. “We also want to use this time to spread awareness about an issue that is near to our hearts – supporting the wellness of our oceans. We want to do our part to contribute in any way we can, whether through fundraising efforts or continuing our use of biodegradable bowls and paper straws in our restaurant.”

LemonShark Poké opened its doors in Cary’s Stone Creek Village in February as the first location in the south, providing residents with a healthy, fast-casual meal option and offering vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free orders. The restaurant features a whopping 24 toppings, 15 sauces and 12 poké options that can be combined into a bowl or a sushi burrito, Hawaii Katsu plates and hot fingers foods. Its self-serve beer wall features a selection of craft beers and ciders from North Carolina, selected to complement poké flavors, and a craft sake menu for a more traditional experience.

“When we opened in Cary this year, we aspired to bring a reinvigorated energy to poké and inspire the community to try new ingredients and experiment with different combinations,” continued Dignman. “We like to include options for every preference, whether it be mixing up the protein with chicken or tofu or changing the preparation by marinating or pickling; it’s a truly versatile craft. We hope to be the reason that someone becomes a poké enthusiast!”

LemonShark Poké’s bingo rewards card features 14 of its signature specialty ingredients, with success options for vegans, vegetarians and those with gluten-free restrictions. Participants must satisfy four squares in a row to get the next poké bowl free and present their card to redeem. Only one square will receive credit per visit and must be validated from Oct. 27 to Nov. 30, 2019, while the reward may be satisfied until Dec. 31, 2019.
