Linda Craft, the CEO of Linda Craft & Team, Realtors® and CEO of Craft Commercial, has been recognized with the Red Cross Triangle Chapter Humanitarian of the Year Award for her tireless work chairing and supporting various charitable organizations and for her work in the community, assisting and coaching young professionals.

Clayton Dorn, the 2015 Humanitarian of the Year Awardee presented Linda Craft with this year’s award. He stated that “A Humanitarian is someone who is in good health mentally, emotionally and spiritually and they get that way by exercising: faith, compassion, inclusion, charity and humility.” All things of which Linda Craft encompasses. “This was one of the most significant nights of my life. I am so humbled and honored” said Linda Craft.

For the last two years, Linda has served as the Co-Chair of the Red Cross Ball and is already planning to make the 2017 Ball another huge success with Co-Chair Suzy Beth Sarver of 919 Magazine. Linda is committed to many organizations, including Note in the Pocket, 919 Magazine First Responders, Hospice of Wake County, Second Chance and Saving Grace for Adoption, just to name a few. In addition, Linda’s team has sponsored and supported more than 70 charities. They are actively engaged in community events, offering free use of their moving truck to charities, donating cruise vacations to charity auctions, donating water for walk/run events as well as holding an annual free shredding event for the community. Linda is an active member of Athena of the Triangle, which focuses on empowering women to be strong leaders by accelerating business growth through innovative programming.

Today, Linda and her team of specialists close over 400 homes a year and over 9,000 families have trusted them with one of their largest assets, their home.
