Women living in the Triangle are invited to join Lorraine Miano, a local author and certified integrative nutrition health coach, at Page 158 Books in Wake Forest on Monday, October 16, at 7 p.m.
The women-only discussion led by Miano will focus on menopause support tips and advice for women in all stages of this life transition. Topics will include how to balance hormones holistically, get a better night’s sleep, reduce and/or eliminate hot flashes, improve libido and say goodbye to anxiety and depression.
Miano lives in Wake Forest and published her first book in 2016, The Magic of Menopause: A Holistic Guide to Get Your Happy Back. In the book, Miano explains lifestyle changes women can make, specifically during menopause, to live a healthy and happy life.
“I wrote The Magic of Menopause as a guide to help women navigate through the struggles they face when going through menopause,” said Miano. “I refer to myself as the menopause fairy godmother to help them tackle the daily changes they experience during this transition.”
As a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, Miano offers individual health and nutrition coaching as well as group coaching sessions. Originally from New York, Miano has lived in the Triangle area for 23 years.
