The law firm of Morris, Russell, Eagle & Worley, PLLC, announces its rebranding to become Longleaf Law Partners. The new brand reflects the firm’s expertise in legal services for commercial real estate transactions and its mindset toward client service.

“Our firm has evolved over the past decade, and we wanted our brand to reflect who we are today,” said managing partner James McCaskill. “We have top-tier attorneys who chose to leave large, multi-specialty firms to be part of something different. By rebranding, we hope to convey the energy and enthusiasm we have for our work and for our clients.”

In recent years, the experienced real estate attorneys who have joined Morris Russell have brought with them a clientele and level of work that have fundamentally altered the firm’s capabilities and client approach, according to McCaskill.

The practice routinely handles complex real estate matters involving large transactions with numerous properties and multiple parties. Attorneys work in lock-step with clients – commercial developers, property owners, lenders, equity providers, tenants and contractors – to address concerns ranging from real estate development through leasing. Practice areas include land use, commercial real estate investment and development, tax credits and real estate litigation.

“Our attorneys have the legal savvy found in the nation’s leading multi-faceted, corporate firms, but with several important distinctions,” said McCaskill. “First, our practice focuses exclusively on commercial real estate transactions, rather than trying to be all things to all people. Our attitude and personality also set us apart. We are an energetic, unpretentious team of creative problem-solvers who are vested in the people we represent. When our clients win, we win.”

McCaskill will head up Longleaf Law Partners as managing partner. Other partners are Holly Mills, Michael Birch, Ben Worley and David Miller. Ken Eagle will serve as of counsel.
