The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization that promotes business and enhances economic and community development for the town of Morrisville, announced today it welcomes Linda Frenette as President.
In her new role, Frenette will work with the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors to refine and implement the long-range strategic plan for the Chamber. She will lead efforts to drive both economic and membership development and serve as an alliance builder in the community to ensure a vibrant economic environment for both employers and their employees.
“Linda is highly regarded as a community leader and has a strong passion for the chamber industry,” said Rod Frankel, chairman of the Board of Directors, Morrisville Chamber of Commerce. “She brings a proven record of growth within the high-performing organizations she’s led and has established strong relationships in the region. We’re confident her expertise in cultivating public and private partnerships, identifying strategic alliances and furthering economic development and advocacy will serve the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce and our community well.”
Prior to accepting her role with the Morrisville Chamber, Frenette served for five years as President of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce. She has also held the position of Executive Director at several non-profit organizations.
“I am honored to step into this new role as the president of the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce,” said Frenette. “I look forward to developing as many personal connections as possible and using my skills in strategic planning, problem solving and achieving goals to further economic development for Morrisville’s local businesses.”
