Parents can now connect with camps, before- and after-school programs, sports, lessons and more from a single platform

The KidCircle app, now available on smartphones and tablets, provides parents a simple way to find, register, pay and track their children’s activities all from one platform. The free app is currently available for the Triangle area and especially useful as families plan their fall activities, including children’s camps, before- and afterschool care, sports leagues, classes/lessons and more.

KidCircle is the first app of its kind, transforming a process that many parents dread. Rather than driving to, handwriting paperwork and submitting a check at each individual activity, KidCircle digitizes all steps. Parents simply create a profile for each child. Then, when they select and register for an activity, the app auto-fills electronic paperwork. Parents can pay for any activity through mobile credit card payments with zero processing fees. The entire registration process takes only minutes and can be done anywhere and anytime right from an iPhone, iPad or Android device.

KidCircle lists more than a hundred children’s activities, with more added every week. Parents can use the app to research new options and get recommendations based on their child’s interests, location and age. It also integrates with each child’s school schedule and sends reminders when additional childcare may be needed, like teacher workdays and early dismissals. As scheduled activities approach, parents receive notifications to help plan day-of details.

Providers and parents can connect through a chat functionality on the app to answer questions and receive updates. Providers can also share pictures of kids throughout the day to give parents peace of mind and a glimpse into their child’s day. The app will also connect with Amazon’s Alexa to further integrate and ease the children’s activity process for families.

The app was created by a Triangle dad himself who noticed how difficult it was for him and his wife to find, register and organize their 8-year-old son’s activities. There was not a solution available, so he created KidCircle.

In addition to helping parents, children’s activity providers can use the app to go completely paperless for simplified operations. This hassle-free and streamlined approach means an increased emphasis on safety with features to quickly sort information, such as a list of allergies or early arrivals, and digitize a secure check in/out process with required password or fingerprint verification.

The free app is available for download on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android operating systems. KidCircle never sells information, does not include any ads and employs the highest standards of safety, privacy and information security.
